And I like the term &quot;fierce compassion.&quot; I was never a fan of the phrase &quot;tough love.&quot; I like to think of myself (when I succeed in being who I want to be in situations like this) as a &quot;love warrior.&quot; I think you could also say &quot;unwavering compassion,&quot; but the key point to me is that you have to endure something hard in order to do the most loving thing.</description>
